Civil, mechanical, instrumentation, control, and electrical installation of a 7.2 km gas pipeline for a 414 MW thermoelectric power plant. The pipeline includes excavation and refilling of 40,000 m3, installation of 7.2 km of 12″ Scl 80 pipeline and welding of 8,000 DI, Installation of traps for cleaning pigs, Horizontal Directed Drilling (HDD) at special road crossings, leak testing, pre-commissioning, inerting, and non-destructive testing, installation of instruments for gas measurement, fiber optics, cathodic protection, grounding and feeding of power equipment.Construction of underground electrical conduits, junction boxes, grounding system, and installation of poles for road lighting of the project.Civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation, and telecommunications works including Installation of 156 tons of metal structures for the Warehouse Workshop building.Installation of chemical drains and electrical conduits in various areas (area 4, 5A, 5B, 6A, and 6B)November 2022 – in progress

Civil, structural, mechanical, plateworks, piping and electrical “Brown Field” construction installations for the expansion project of the Pueblo Viejo gold mine.  For these works more than 30 plant shutdowns were planned and executed in order put in production the new components of the expansion project.  These include includes works in the following areas:

Area 4141 – Pressure Oxidation (POX): Upgrade for autoclaves, installation of new ciclones and seal tanks, installation of stainless-steel duplex and titanium Gr2 tanks, installation of pumps in charge and flash thickening areas. Fabrication, installation and welding of titanium Gr2/Gr12, Duplex SS, 316 SS, Monel and alloy 20 pipping. 

Area 4163 – HDS 2 Thickener Upgrade: Change of structural and mechanical components in Copper Recovery Thickener for its adequation to HDS 2. Electromechanical installation of pumps.

Area 4122 – Iron 1 Transfer Station: Mechanical, civil, electrical, tanks and pipping installation of new pump station in Iron Tanks.

Area 6163 – Cooling Towers: Installation of 9 cooling towers with their respective pumps. Fabrication and installation of 5 316 SS tanks.  

Installation of mechanical and piping works for the expansion of the existing AES LNG Terminal in Andrés, Boca Chica, Dominican Republic. These works include the prefabrication and erection of 1,200 tons of steel structure in the pipe rack for the new 120,000 M3 LNG storage tank, complete piping works for the new facilities, including 3 hot-tappings (18”,30”,16”) and 70 tie-ins between the new and existing facilities, prefabrication and installation of 80,000 DI of piping for cryogenic, CS, HDPE, and GRP systems. Mechanical installation of 1,424 tons of equipment for the new facilities including 3 cryogenic compressors, construction and mechanical installation of the new Truck Loading station, and installation of outdoor and indoor fire fighting systems. Installation of monorail hoist system in new LNG tank platform, and selected above ground civil works for electrical building and other facilities. Support in commissioning worksWe had over 1,500,000 man hours invested and approximately 1,000 direct personnel during peak activity months.

Assembly in modules and installation of 1200 tons of pipe rack structure, with a length of 1,400 meters. Installation of 14,000 meters of pipes of different diameters (18″, 24″, 32″, 36″) and different materials (HDPE, Titanium, SS 316). Pueblo Viejo, DR, June 2021 – 2023.

Dismantling of existing collapsed stockpile conveyor structure. Fabrication, installation, electrical and instrumentation works, and commissioning for new stockpile conveyor structure and 100 m of the conveyor and its motors. Execution lasted 3 months working 24/7.
